Do eSIMs come with a phone number # to make or receive calls and texts?

Some of our local and regional plans come attached with a phone number which include calls and text messages*.

But most of our eSIMs are data only. In other words, if you buy a local eSIM for US or India, for example, or a global eSIM, it won’t come with a number to make Calls and send SMS (text). 

You still can place all outgoing Calls & Texts using your data services if possible, taking advantage of data apps such as WhatsApp, Facetime, Social Media etc.

If you are unable to use the data apps to place the Calls & Texts, you may consider roaming for Calls & SMS / text with your own Network Operator if this feature is included within your original plan.

*Please note that if you buy a regional EU plan from Orange FR, you will be assigned a French phone number starting with +33.
